Rosie Watson is Head of External Relations at the Domestic Abuse (DA) Alliance, which brings together organisations working on the frontline of domestic abuse with the civil legal sector to provide immediate legal assistance and protection for victims.

Prior to working for the DA Alliance, Rosie spent several years in the policing and criminal justice sector, shining a spotlight on victim support services.

Rosie is a White Ribbon Champion and is currently studying for a Diploma in Domestic Abuse & Violence Awareness.

“I first met Sharon in 2020 – our paths collided when the seed of an idea to improve support for victims of domestic abuse within the workplace turned into the national launch of a landmark domestic abuse policy for employers. Since then, ‘Sharon’s Policy’ has informed workplace wellbeing for hundreds of employers, and I’ve had the privilege of speaking alongside Sharon at numerous events to raise awareness of domestic abuse, and how to support those experiencing it. I am immensely proud to have been asked to be an Ambassador for Domestic Abuse Education – in fact, it couldn’t be an easier job to do. Put simply, Sharon’s own story and training is vital for employers who can – and should – help to take action on domestic abuse.”
