Miles Asteri

Ambassador

Miles grew up in a home marked by domestic abuse and violence, witnessing the trauma that unfolded between his parents and living with the emotional weight that so many children carry in silence. Although he was shielded from physical harm, the psychological impact of growing up in a violent environment left deep and lasting impressions – ones he has spent years understanding, healing, and transforming into purpose.

Today, Miles is an ambassador for domestic abuse awareness, with a particular focus on the children who often become the forgotten victims. He speaks openly about the long-term effects of growing up around abuse, believing that honest conversation is one of the most powerful tools for breaking generational cycles. His message is clear: children are shaped by their environments, but they do not have to become products of them.

Despite the challenges of his early life, Miles built a future defined not by trauma, but by resilience. He established a successful career, married, started a family, and embraced opportunities that once felt unimaginable – including appearing on the BBC television series The Traitors. His journey stands as a testament to what is possible when cycles are confronted, support is found, and healing is prioritised.

As an advocate, Miles uses his voice to empower others who have lived through similar experiences. He champions education, early intervention, and open dialogue, reminding survivors that their past does not determine their potential. His work centres on hope, accountability, and the belief that generational abuse can be stopped – and that every child deserves a safe home, a stable future, and the chance to thrive.
