Tracey Secker joins Domestic Abuse Education as an Associate Trainer. Along with this role, Tracey founded Voices Social Enterprise to continue her work in the domestic abuse field and raise awareness around trauma and other forms of abuse. She utilises her many years of experience in business development, sales and commercial operations to build collaborations and networks that will support victims, survivors, warriors and thrivers of abuse and trauma.
She is a qualified trainer, has lived experience of abuse and trauma, and is passionate about raising awareness of these areas through training, events, providing quality resources and working with like-minded individuals and organisations. Her work is centred around survivors, voices and trauma- informed approaches.
Tracey says, “I know that if we work together and collaborate, we can do more for our organisations, employees, friends, family and local communities to raise awareness and support everyone.” Along with her work, Tracey is a keen writer. Her first solo book ‘The Way of a Warrior’ looks at how childhood trauma and abuse impacts into adulthood. It came out of her research into her own experiences, the research she found, and experiences of others, including self-care ways others have found helpful.
